ROYAL AUSTRALIAN NAVY DELEGATION VISITS INA

 A delegation comprising Lieutenant Gabrielle Dobson and three Midshipmen of Royal Australian Navy (RAN) visited Indian Naval Academy (INA) from 24 to 30 July 2018.
The visit was aimed at reinforcing the robust professional relationship between the two navies and to exchange best training practices. The delegation visited the various training facilities, interacted with Instructors and trainees and was given general insight on the ab- initio training methods of the Indian Navy.

BRAVEHEART SQUADRON EMERGE VICTORIOUS IN THE INTER SQUADRON CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIP

The Inter Squadron Cross Country Championship at Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala was conducted on 29 Jul 18. Braveheart Squadron emerged victorious in the Inter Squadron Cross Country Championship for Autumn Term 2018. This 12.5 km run is designed to test the endurance of cadets and includes running on road, fields, hillslopes and sea beach. Rear Admiral Puneet Chadha, VSM, Deputy Commandant, INA flagged off the event participated by 533 cadets from the six squadrons of the Academy.

OPEN TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP CONDUCTED

The finals of Open Tennis Championship for Autumn Term 2018 was conducted at Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala on 23 July 2018.  A total of 18 cadets from six squadrons of the Academy competed in knockout rounds for the championship medals.   
Cdt Shubham Vats won the Gold medal. Capt S Hazarika, Training Captain (Design), INA,  congratulated and presented the individual medals to the proud winners.

INDIAN NAVY OFFICER ON SOLO CYCLE EXPEDITION FROM KASHMIR TO KANYAKUMARI ARRIVES AT KANNUR

Lieutenant Commander Manoj Gupta a serving Indian Naval Officer presently posted at Indian Naval Academy who is on a solo cycle expedition from Kashmir to Kanyakumar arrived at Kannur district, Kerala today, Tuesday 10 July 2018.
Officers, Midshipmen and Family members of Indian Naval Academy rode with him in bicycles from Payyanur to Pappinisseri to bolster his expedition. The officer is on a solo cycling expedition to create awareness regarding “Armed Forces Flag Day”.

PASSING OUT PARADE HELD

At an spectacular Passing out Parade (POP) held at Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala here today, Saturday, 26 May 2018, 311 Midshipmen and cadets of Indian Navy and Indian Coast Guard including four International cadets from Maldives, Myanmar and Vietnam passed out of the hallowed portals of INA on successful completion of their training.
