A team of 68 cadets and 04 teachers from Sainik School Kazhakootam visited theIndian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala from 28th to 30th of September 2015.  The cadets were visiting INA for the first time.
The motivational tour was aimed at providing the cadets with first hand experience of various training and allied facilities, and, the training curriculum followed by cadets at the INA. The cadets reached INA on the evening of 28 September. The following day morning, an INA movie was screened for the Sainik School cadets and thereafter they visited various training facilities like ‘Panini’ library, ‘Arjun’ small arms firing range, ‘Mulla’ aquatics complex, ‘Marakkar’ waterman-ship training centre, simulators, etc. The cadets also interacted with Vice Admiral Ajit Kumar P, Commandant, an alumnus of the school and other officers of INA during the visit. The cadets were visibly awed and extremely motivated after the interaction.
Later in the evening they interacted with the cadets of INA and visited nearby places like Mt Dilli light house and the beach. The team from Sainik School departed INA on 30 September after a successful and inspiring visit.
