CONVOCATION CEREMONY HELD AT INA ON 28 MAY 21

#122 Midshipmen of 100th Indian Naval Academy Course were awarded B.Tech degree by the Chief Guest, Vice Admiral M A Hampiholi, AVSM, NM, Commandant, INA at the Convocation Ceremony held at INA on 28 May 21. Rear Admiral K S Noor, Principal INA, Rear Admiral A N Pramod, Deputy Commandant & Chief Instructor INA, Officers and Professorial Cadre Officers graced the occasion.
The Ceremony marked the culmination of a rigorous four year academic regimen, wherein the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) accredited B.Tech degree program is run simultaneously with Navy specific military subjects and a strenuous outdoor and physical training curriculum.  The graduating Midshipmen acquired their B.Tech degree in either of the three streams viz., Applied Electronics and Communication Engineering (AEC), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) or Mechanical Engineering (ME), under the aegis of Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.
The Chief Guest congratulated the graduating Midshipmen, their parents as well as their Instructors and staff at INA. He administered the Convocation Oath and awarded trophies to meritorious Midshipmen. The ‘Chief of the Naval Staff Rolling Trophy’ for the Midshipman adjudged best in Applied Electronics and Communication (AEC) stream was awarded to Midshipman Abhishek Kumar. The ‘Chief of the Naval Staff Rolling Trophy’ for best in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) stream was awarded to Midshipman Mohit  Bhurariya. The ‘Chief of the Naval Staff Rolling Trophy’ for best in Mechanical Engineering (ME) stream was awarded to Midshipman Yogesh Kumar.
